Adam added the words, "Neither shall you touch it." In so doing Adam
changed what God had said. Remember, Eve was not even created when God
commanded Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of, "Good and
Evil." (Notice, God does not think much of our good....he said, "For in
that day you shall surely die!")
Adam introduced Eve to DOCTRINE! He added to God's commandment, put a human spin onto what was God's command
In
most churches and synagogues the human spin is what we hear from the
Pastor or the Rabbi. We take the word of God and make it a tool or
concept to help us get through OUR lives. Often, we have a Topic and
then we find scripture to help us deal with the topic. The Messiah
taught God's instruction, God's commands (Can anyone tell me why
Yeshuah did a better job then did Moses?) He used parables and quoted
the prophets.
Moses was given God's instruction (He actually
had them written before he went up the mountain) on how the Israelites
were to live redeemed (It was a rhetorical question, folks!). The
Apostles and the Disciples gave to us (Gentiles) God's word on how to
live redeemed. Both times God required a sacrifice and both times we
were saved, all of us.
It is terrible that the Christians
understand that Messiah fulfilled the law and YET that is all he
taught. (The word law in the paleo Hebrew means instructs or teaches.)
The Messiah taught the instructions given to Moses perfectly and he did
it with out sin. He was the perfect instructor who taught us the word
of God without Jewish doctrine......Paul comes along and says...No the
Gentiles do not have to be circumcised and the Christians said nah nah
nananah! The Christians said, “you have to be born again" and the Jews
said, are you nuts? satan has been rolling on the floor with hysterical
laughter ever since. Both groups are right but the interpretation of
the instruction was wrong!
Did Moses say the sinner’s prayer? Did King David say the sinner’s prayer; did both not have Grace?
The
Jews have many doctrines and the Christians too, have many
doctrines....how is God's instruction (TORAH) working with those who
were given the covenants and those who were grafted in to the
covenants? it would appear that satan is alive and well in doctrine
because, the one new man is a mess!(?) What did satan say to EVE again?
Adam
complicated the word, so Eve was challenged by the added word and the
rest is history!I can Hear satan saying, "See, you touched it and you
did not die"
See how very simple all of this really is....GOD did not introduce us to chaos!
I
once had a pastor say to me. "The Jews rejected the Messiah" (That
seems to be the mantra of most Christians) as they read the bible that
the Jews wrote (amazing) Anyway, this pastor said the Jews bought all
of this onto themselves. He began to tell me what is wrong with the
Jews...I don't know any Christian who knows the commandments (all 613
of them) or any Christians who do the ten that the Greeks condensed
down with a philosophical spin! Like wise, I have yet to meet a Jew who
declares they can do all 613 commandments even the ones meant for woman
and animals, duh? Okay, so the law does not save any of us! It does a
very good job showing us how Adam and Eve screwed up!
God said, "Hear and Obey! Why did he give us two instructions concerning his commandments?
I
have a Jewish friend who insists that the Messiah (nailed to the cross)
was a nice guy! As I watch the two doctrines war over whose right, I am
reminded of God's instruction: "WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD,
BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE
DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES"
for nearly two thousand years the "new man" is beating the hell out of
each other, literally!
We all would do well to just get back to
the 5 books of Moses....The problem with Eve goes on and on and on! Men
have belittled women for years now! (I used to be very guilty of this,
I understand the mentality that denigrates our women, trust me!) This
is not my intent to put women in a category. I am merely recalling what
was done. God said, " It is not good for man to be alone" Think about
that, here is man and God, what else could he possibly need? He gave to
us his beauty in the form of Woman. That is the real deal!
Moses
taught God's instruction and so did Messiah. God is so repetitious! I
simply love how he gently taps onto our hearts his TORAH and truth!
Be blessed
